Extraordinary Bat Speed - 2 Best Exercises to Generate Serious Bat Speed!

Once again the best way to increase the mph of your bat speed is to have a smart strength and conditioning program in place. Athleticism is built upon an individual having a powerful core, superior total body strength, and can train their body in a functional system. Check out the following 2 exercises that I have included here to help you with your hitting power!

1. The Double Arm Kettlebell Swing: By now you may be familiar with the ancient kettlebell and understand that this is an ancient strength and conditioning device that has been around for a long time. This device is second to nothing when helping any athlete develop a superior strength and conditioning program for optimal performance. The base lift of the kettlebell is the double arm swing. This single lift is tremendous in that it incorporates hundreds of your muscles at once and will help you to develop tremendous cardiovascular conditioning at the same time. This lift is done by you having to constantly flex and extend at both your hips and knees to build up the necessary momentum to swing the kettlebell from between your legs up to chest height. This is where you develop superior core strength, shoulder power, and total body conditioning to make swinging your bat seem easier than ever.

2. Kettlebell Figure Eights To A Hold: This is a dynamic drill that certainly strengthens your core, hips, and helps with a tremendous amount of trunk rotation which is absolutely necessary when it comes down to swinging that Louisville Slugger. To begin this drill set the kettlebell on the ground between your feet. Pick it up with one arm and flex at your hips and knees to swing or hike it between your legs. As you "hike it" between your legs simply pass the bell off to the other hand. As you grab the bell with the opposite hand bring it around to the outside of your leg at your body's side. As the momentum of the bell brings it to this point simply fire off and extend at your hip and knee and allow the momentum to assist you in swinging the bell across your body. As you swing it across your body simply catch it at your opposite pec (chest muscle) or shoulder. From here simply pass it back through your legs to repeat the process on the other side. This bat speed drill will certainly help you to enhance your hitting power. If you haven't gotten acquainted with kettlebell training then you are only holding back your progress. Remember that anyone can train hard, but only the champions train smart!

Get Real Results - 2 Best Strength Training Exercises For Men That Are Serious About Results!

Strength training workouts for men that are serious about fitness should be about results! If you want results then you should incorporate kettlebell training into your personal fitness and strength program. By now you may be familiar with this ancient device and know that it has forged some of the greatest body's on the planet for over three centuries. Take your fitness and strength to all new heights. Here are a couple of kettlebell exercises to kick your bodybuilding and strength training program up a notch.

1. Overhead Kettlebell Press And Walk: If you are looking to kick your program up a notch then this exercise will certainly do the trick. Before you begin this drill make sure that you have the availability of a moderately heavy kettlebell and some open flat walking space. Mark off a distance of about 20 yards with your walking area. Start with the bell at one end of the 20 yard walking lane. Properly clean and press the kettlebell over your head. From here you are just simply going to walk the 20 yard distance carrying the load of the bell overhead. Make sure that you keep your shoulder and elbow locked out throughout the walk. This is a very exerting drill and is a great strength training exercise for your stomach and core muscles.

2. The Single Arm Kettlebell Swing: For this strength training drill you will need the availability of a single kettlebell of moderate resistance. Set the bell between your feet with your feet about shoulder width distance apart. Grab the bell toward the inner portion of the handle. Hook your grip by grabbing the kettlebell handle and rotating your hand so that your knuckles point directly at the sphere of the bell. Pick the bell up and begin performing the hip snap to swing the bell. The hip snap is performed by you having to constantly and fluently flex and extend at both your knees and hips to build the momentum to swing the kettlebell.

As you swing the bell allow your forearm to rotate to a thumbs down position at the bottom of the swing. As the bell ascends to the top of the swing allow your forearm to rotate back to a palms down position. If you haven't introduced kettlebell training into your personal program then you are only cheating yourself a missing out on a REAL man's results oriented fitness program! Remember that anyone can train hard, but only the best train smart.

2 Top Notch Strength and Conditioning Exercises For the Elite Football Player!

US Military Academy West Point by cjrodkeyReggie Bush - 2010 Offseason Workout Part 1 by Reggie_Bush

In order to obtain mind blowing strength and gridiron glory you MUST have an effective battery of strength and conditioning exercises set in place. Permit yourself a minute to read and learn about what strength and conditioning for football athletes is all about! If you are going to be a competitor on the field of play today you need to incorporate a page from the training past into your strength and conditioning program my friend.

So what page from yesterday am I talking about? Well, I'm talking about training with the ancient kettlebell! That's right, I said kettlebell my friend. This ancient strength and conditioning device is second to nothing when helping you to develop an explosive, powerful, and fit body to dish out punishment on the football field all day long. Check out the following 2 strength and conditioning exercises you can implement with this ancient tool to take your game to all new heights.

1. The Dual Kettlebell Clean, Squat, And Jerk: For this particular strength and conditioning drill you will need the availability of a pair of kettlebells of moderate resistance. Set the bells down between your feet. Properly perform a kettlebell clean racking the bells at your chest. Next, perform a front squat with the kettlebells. Now make sure you don't allow the bells to pull you forward and off balance. Stabilize your body and lower yourself enough to touch the insides of your knees with your elbows. Once you ascend explosively extend at your hips and knees to create the necessary momentum to press or jerk the kettlebells to a locked out position above your head.

2. The Dual Kettlebell See Saw Presses: For this exercise you will be concentrating on developing some Herculean shoulders. Once again properly clean the bells to your chest. Press one bell overhead. Now as you lower the first pressed bell start to press the second kettlebell before you allow the first bell to come to rest. You see the objective is to continuously alternate pressing the bells without allowing one to come to complete rest, hence the name see saw press. These exercises are perfect for any serious football player, but especially beneficial to the collegiate and NFL strength and conditioning programs! If you haven't included kettlebell training into your personal fitness and strength program then you are missing out. Remember that anyone can train hard, but only champions train smart my friend!

As a strength and conditioning specialist that has trained athletes for over 8 years now I know the best way for teenagers to forge a body of rock hard muscle mass and to get them past the challenge of their maturity phase to build muscle naturally. I am glad to introduce to you the ancient art of kettlebell training.

By now you may have heard of kettlebell training unless you have avoided every form of mass media possible. The ancient kettlebell is NOT a ridiculous fitness fad that is going to be here today and gone tomorrow. This ancient device has been used by world strongmen and athletes for over three centuries! Strength training with kettlebells is a very dynamic and hard hitting form of strength and conditioning.

This style of training allows you to develop both optimal strength and unrelenting conditioning by combining forms of resistance through the act of movement. You see kettlebell training is "movement specific" and not "body part" specific. The most basic strength endurance lift of the kettlebell is known as the double arm swing. This single exercise incorporates hundreds of muscles at once by you having to swing the bell back and forth from between your legs up to chest level like a pendulum. This is one piece of strength training equipment that is sure to get your kid's attention. The benefits of strength training with kettlebells are endless.

If you don't get your teenager involved in kettlebell training then you are truly missing out on the BEST opportunity to enhance his or her athleticism. I'll even make it easy on you by inviting you to access all of my other articles here for Free. Remember that anyone can train hard, but only the champions train smart!

Superior Tennis Athlete - The Absolute Best Workout For Tennis Players!

I have been training athletes for a long time now and the key to success of all athletes has to be attributed to a smart strength and conditioning program. Strength training exercises for tennis should focus in on power, speed, and quickness. All of these traits can be obtained with the initial implementation of one single hard hitting exercise known as the double arm kettlebell swing!

By now you may be familiar with the kettlebell. This ancient strength training device requires a knowledge of training that is dynamic in nature and will condition your body quicker than just about any other form of strength and conditioning training around. The double arm kettlebell swing is the base strength endurance lift that is performed with the kettlebell. This single lift incorporates hundreds of your muscles and is second to nothing when it comes down to strength training muscles for optimal performance in your tennis game! The swing is performed by you picking the kettlebell up with both arms and performing a technique known as the hip snap.

The hip snap is done by you constantly and fluently flexing and extending at both your hips and knees in order to create the necessary momentum to swing the kettlebell back and forth from between your legs up to chest level. This movement encompasses many muscles and strengthens areas ranging from your hips, glutes, hamstrings, shoulders, back, and core muscles which are all necessary for improving every area of your tennis game.

Take the time to get familiar with the kettlebell swing so you can move on to other more dynamic and challenging lifts with the kettlebell. Like I said, it is an art form. It is well worth the time and the double arm swing can be learned relatively quick. Remember that anyone can train hard, but only the champions train smart my friend!

I am pleased to introduce to you the kettlebell swing! Ladies, you may be familiar with the kettlebell by now, but if not I will quickly fill you in. The kettlebell is an ancient strength and conditioning device that has been used by some the greatest athletes of all time. The reason you may not be familiar with it is because it originated in Russia. The base lift that you can execute with the kettlebell is, of course, the double arm swing.

Now what this exercise does is incorporate hundreds of your muscles at once in order for you to raise your level of exertion. You see to truly burn fat and burn it fast you have got to really get your heart rate up. Remember that there are two forms of cardio. There is aerobic cardio (which means with oxygen) and there is anaerobic cardio (which means without oxygen). Kettlebell swings incorporate the latter.

The double arm swing is done by you picking up the kettlebell with both arms. Next, you have to execute a movement that is known as the hip snap. This is done by you having to fluently and consistently flex and extend at both your hips and knees to build momentum to swing the kettlebell up to your chest level. From here you are simply swinging the iron cannonball back and forth like a pendulum. This cardio workout routine is tremendous for burning fat and helping you to get rid of your stomach. If you are looking for cardio exercises to burn fat fast then you have hit the jackpot here with kettlebell swings!

Take your cardio workout routine to all new heights. Take the time to properly learn the technique involved with kettlebell swings and then move on to more challenging lifts with this strength and conditioning device. Beyond Crunches - The Absolute Best Way to Get a Six Pack!

six_pack_diet_2 by jsmith2482He is great no matter what by SUPERMAN RAMBO PREMANAND

In order to burn fat and get a six pack you have to train whole body movements that get your heart rate jumping through the roof. The absolute best way to go about doing this is by swinging the ancient kettlebell! Thats right, I said kettlebell training is the key to your six pack abs success.

The most basic lift that you can execute with the kettlebell is the double arm swing and it incorporates hundreds of muscles at one time causing your heart rate to go through the roof and chiseling your muscle down to something that resembles being cut out of stone. To truly get a six pack or totally ripped body you must get your metabolism going. Setting your body into fat burning mode is the ONLY way to get six pack abs.

All the crunches in the world will only train the abdominal wall by itself. Remember that there are several hundred muscles in and around the trunk (core) of your body that need to be strengthened. Kettlebell training finishes second to nothing in doing just that for you. By swinging the iron cannonball from between your legs up to chest level the natural design of the bell allows all of those large muscle groups to fire, as well as, stimulating the small stabilizers from your head to toe as well. Not only will you get the ripped abs and body you desire, but you will quickly learn that kettlebell training will give you super human strength to back it up!

Even if the kettlebell swing is the only six pack abdominal exercise you do you are better off than just doing crunches alone. So what are you waiting for? Get started losing your belly fat and getting six pack abs today! Remember to train hard, but train smart my friend.

Explosive Power - The Single Best Exercise For Football Explosiveness!

Football requires explosive power and the only way to get that is to train your body to produce it! Workout routines for football have to be catered so that the proper training response will produce the same actions that you incorporate on the football field. Check out the following single best exercise below to get the explosive total body power that you need to perform.

I would like to introduce to you the dual kettlebell squat jump. For this drill you will have to have a pair of relatively light kettlebells of equal weight. Start by standing on a flat surface and hold each kettlebell by your sides. Perform a normal squat with the bells down by your sides and explosively jump up until your feet come up off the ground. Upon landing make sure that you land heel to toe (flat footed) and immediately descend into a squat in order to recoil to vertically jump again. Perform each repetition in continuous succession. The key to this exercise is to make sure that you perform every rep by smoothly transitioning from one jump to the next. This drill is great for developing total hip, core, and leg power for explosive speed and hitting force! Sounds like a recipe for success on the gridiron if you ask me.

Take the time to learn about how to include the kettlebell into your personal football strength training workout. In order to be successful your football strength and conditioning program has to be cutting edge. Train hard and finish the drill my friend!

Pull-Up Supremacy - The 100 Pull-Ups Workout!

First of all the proof is in the pudding! If you are engaging in a 100 Pull-Ups workout you are a strong individual. So how does this workout actually work? Well to break it down the goal is to execute a 100 pull-ups in no more than 10 sets! So this means you are hitting 10 reps per set minimum. Now you gotta agree with me on this one. That is one hard hitting workout! Now there is no doubt that this workout is intense, however I am also including a variation of this workout so it can be applied to those that are at a more beginner or moderate level of strength.

To begin, if you want to be able to attempt the 100 pull-ups workout then you must be really good at doing pull-ups. You will need a pull-up bar, of course, and you will want to execute 10 pull-ups minimum per set for 10 sets! This is going to help you develop superior pulling power, lat-strength, and core strength. This workout involves some serious arm and lat tension. You will propel your strength to all new heights.

If you are unable to hit 10 pull-ups for 10 sets then you can modify your 100 pull-ups workout by transitioning to do horizontal pull-ups on a squat bar and rack, or smith machine. By doing this you will be able to assist yourself in your pulling by pushing through your heels on the floor and engaging your glutes and hamstrings. This will help you to pull your body towards the bar. You can make the choice to do the modified 100 pull-ups workout entirely in the horizontal position or you can interchange the pull-ups between both styles. Either way your lats and your strength will grow like crazy by doing these!

From Zero to 100% Fat-Loss - 2 Exercises That Will Put Your Metabolic Rate Into High Gear!

The key to getting a six pack set of abs, to having a hard lean look, and to resemble the individual on the cover of that fitness magazine you always see in the grocery store boils down to speeding up your metabolism. A fast metabolic rate permits your body to burn calories at a very high rate causing you to lose the weight and speed up your overall process of fat-loss. Here are 2 drills that will help you to do just that!

1. The Burpee: If you are looking for me to talk about some low impact low intense exercise for you to accomplish a great fat-burning state then you might as well look somewhere else. To get your metabolic rate stimulated you must stimulate your nervous system. This is done through short intense burst of muscular contractions that can be done through training multi-joint exercise movements. An example of this is the burpee. This is a funny name for an exercise, but is highly effective in helping you to get in shape.
To begin this drill simply stand with your feet shoulder width apart. Squat down and place your hands on the ground in front of you. From here you are in a crouched position. From this crouched position kick your feet back extending your body into an upright push-up position. Next, execute a standard push-up and then immediately kick your feet back up underneath your body bringing you back to the the crouched position. From here simply stand back up. All of these movements constitute a single repetition. Perform 20 of these in a row and you'll quickly see a workout form before your eyes!

2. Squat and Hold For Time: This is another tremendous and simple exercise that will yield a high level of exertion from you thereby helping you to lose the weight and jumpstart your fitness program. To begin this drill simply stand with your feet about shoulder width distance apart in length. Perform a perfect form squat sitting your hips back until your thighs are parallel to the ground. Once you descend to this position simply hold yourself here for a count to 20. Once you get to 20 stand up and immediately lower yourself back to this position. Keep repeating this until you can accomplish doing it for a full minute without standing up to break. Keep increasing time as you progress!

Kettlebell Training and Weight-Loss - 2 Basic Exercises For Women to Achieve the Perfect Body!

Ladies the kettlebell is a fitness device that is sure to take your training program to levels you never thought possible. Just like a Greek Goddess statue chiseled from stone you can have a body that resembles nothing short of perfection with the help of the iron bell! All you need to do is take the time to learn the basics and from there your workouts will soar with success. Check out the following 2 drills that you can implement to start on your road to physical perfection.

1. The Double-Arm Swing: This is the more base lift of the kettlebell that involves a big "pulling" movement. To start, place the bell between your feet with your feet about shoulder width apart. From here simply perform a proper squat to pick the bell up. Allow the bell to hang around your groin. Next, you need to execute a technique known as the hip snap in order to create momentum to swing the bell back and forth from between your legs up to your chest level. This hip snap motion is performed by you flexing and extending at both your hips and knees back and forth in a continuous motion. As you do this keep your arms straight, your shoulders retracted, and fight against the sensation of being pulled forward. Attempt to do this for 2 to 3 minutes with a moderately heavy bell if you want a killer workout. Fat-loss and weight-loss will come quicker than anything by you performing this single lift.

2. The Single-Arm Swing: To further enhance and intensify your kettlebell training start executing the single-arm swing once you master the double-arm swing. For the single-arm swing you will start out the same exact way as the double-arm. The obvious difference is that you will only be using one arm. A key less noticeable difference though is ensuring your grip by using a "hooking" technique. This is done when you reach down to grab the kettlebell. Simply grab the handle and slightly rotate your hand so that your knuckles are pointing to the sphere of the kettlebell. From here pick it up and you will see that your shoulder naturally is pulled forward.

This is a normal mechanical action of your body. From here perform the hip snap just like before. As you swing the bell allow your arm to rotate to a "thumbs down" position at the bottom of the arc of the swing and then allow it to rotate back to a "palms down" position at the top of the swing! Attempt to perform 20 of these in each arm with a moderately heavy bell to start. You will quickly understand why kettlebell training for women is so effective immediately after you finish the set! Train hard and enjoy.

Kettlebells For Women - A Convenient and Hard-Hitting Tool For Fitness!

Ladies, what are you looking for in your fitness program? Are you looking for a workout that you can do in 20 to 30 minutes? If so, are you looking for this 20 to 30 minute workout to get you real results? Are you looking to save money? Are you looking to workout at home without having to spend a ton of money and space on an in-home gym? If you said YES to any of these questions then you must read on!

Ladies, the solution to all of your exercise wants and needs are right here! The only thing you need to do is get yourself a kettlebell. Kettlebells are an ancient strength training device that have been around for over 3 centuries. They originated in Russia and have been used by strongmen, athletes, military, and law-enforcement personnel to get into optimal condition. As a strength and conditioning professional I will tell you that kettlebell training for women is the best all around way for you ladies to get into shape.

By in large women's fitness is pretty much the same as men's fitness. Our anatomical make-up is pretty much the same with the exception of the reproductive system. This is where the difference in the hormonal ratio of testosterone and estrogen come into play. You see muscles develop differently in men and women. Men's muscles tend to naturally grow larger in size than a woman's muscle. You ladies tend to develop muscles with the appearance of a more "sleek" and "smooth" look than the guys' more "ripped" and "large" appearance. Kettlebells are great for helping you ladies get this type of look that I am describing to you. I have trained many women with kettlebells and they all pretty much have this very perfectly shaped and sleek look that I just described to you.

You see if you want to train with kettlebells you have the convenience of not only looking great, but you also benefit in all the other areas that I asked you about in the beginning of this article. A single kettlebell runs at about a little more than a couple of dollars per pound. This is more than when compared to other more traditional weights such as dumbells and plates, however the kettlebell is much more versatile. You can effectively train your entire body with this ancient device. As a matter of fact, you can pretty much train every muscle in your entire body with a single lift with the kettlebell which is known as the double-arm swing! You can workout with it in your yard, your garage, your living room, or take it with you to the gym if you currently have a membership. The beauty is that you don't need that membership if you don't want it if you have a kettlebell available.

When you are finished swinging the calories away with the iron ball it can be easily stored away in your closet or behind your bedroom door. No warranty is required and it won't break, as long as, you get the traditional cast-iron type! If convenience and having a hard-hitting fitness program is what you want then don't waste anymore of your time! Kettlebell training is the way of the future for fit women. A Vicious Kettlebell Circuit!

I think we both can agree that kettlebell training is a hard-hitting choice when it comes to getting a good workout. Well, training in the form of a circuit with this kettlebell workout is no different.

The following kettlebell workout is what I like to refer to as the vicious circuit. It involves a combination and variation of swings, cleans, and snatches to get your blood pumping. To begin, you will need to have a pair of moderately heavy bells of equal weight. Every exercise will include 5 repetitions. Start by performing a duel clean bringing the bells to your chest. Bring the bells from the ground to your chest for each repetition. When you finish your first 5 reps simply transition into doing push-up rows off of the two bells.

This is where you perform a push-up off of the bells and row one to your ribcage then perform a another push-up to row the other side to your ribcage. Complete 5 of these on each side. Next, immediately pop-up to your feet to perform 5 duel bell swings. After your fifth swing simply transition from the sixth swing into a series of 5 duel bell overhead snatches! When you complete the snatches you have concluded the first round of the vicious circuit. Try to complete 3 full rounds of this circuit and strictly manage your rest time between cycles.

If you include this little series into your personal program you will quickly see the pounds melt away! Weight-loss and getting fit will never come so fast! Train hard and give it a try my friends.
