Gridiron champions have to be fit, mean, strong, and disciplined. All of these characteristics make up the qualities of a true athlete in my opinion. If you want to hammer guys on the field of play by laying bone crushing hits then this article is for you. I have included a single lift to take your strength training workout routine to all new heights.
In order to turn into a gridiron nightmare for your opposition you must include the single arm overhead kettlebell snatch into your muscle building workout plan. This single lift will help you to develop explosiveness, core strength, hip power, shoulder stability, and even resiliency to make you more resistant to injury. If you don't incorporate this single lift into your weight training routine you are surely missing out!
The overhead kettlebell snatch is performed by you vertically lifting the bell from between your legs and locking it out overhead in a held position. There is an important series of steps that you must learn first before attempting this lift. To execute the snatch you must forcefully flex and extend at both your hips and knees to create the necessary momentum to lift the kettlebell to a high pull position. Once the bell is at this high pull position lateral to your head you must then vertically punch your palm to the sky to lock your elbow and shoulder into place. This is a gruesome lift to help you develop some serious hitting power!
If you haven't taken the time to get acquainted with the kettlebell then you are only holding back your progress. I'll even make easier for you by asking you to access the rest of my articles here for free! Remember that anyone can train hard, but only champions train smart!
