Exercise - The Importance and Efficiency of Intensity!

Fitness is something that seems to rank right up there with entertainment these days. Everywhere I look I see magazines, books, internet, and TV pitching some gimmicky fitness product with the promise of huge results. People spend the money for every new thing that hits the screen to be "on top" of the latest fitness craze.

The fitness world is a world of image that people usually end up spending more for in plastic surgeries and a so-called "magical pills" rather than in the price of sweat and tears. I usually put my beginning clients through a workout that last only about 15 minutes and they feel more than they ever felt putting in 2 hours at the gym. You see the point that I'm making is that the 15 minutes of misery is much more beneficial than a lackadaisical hour of leisure time on the treadmill. The key to constructing a hard body takes sacrifice and that is accomplished through INTENSITY.

You absolutely must achieve a level of increased physical exertion in order to build lean muscle mass, superior cardiovascular conditioning, and a jet-engine like metabolism. It is just fine if your workouts last only 5 minutes as long as that five minutes is all that you can handle at the time. Keep pushing and you can get up to the full 15 minutes, right? Many studies have shown that the human bodys' level of growth hormone peak around 40 to 45 minutes of intense training anyway. Don't think of this as bad news because that little study just extinguished the excuse of not having enough time to workout.

Intensity is the answer to all of your fitness questions. You get more in less time and you don't have to train as frequently. So go get fired up and drive yourself to get REAL results!

The Kettlebell - 2 Exercises to Annihilate Unwanted Body-Fat!

Fitness by manolinlaochristian by hans eder

By now if you have read my materials you know that there are literally hundreds of different ways to train your body. You may or may not know that there are hundreds of different exercises that you can do with kettlebells to develop an extraordinarily fit body. Check out these following 2 exercises that you can include into your own personal program to give you an edge that you probably would have never thought possible!

1. The Clean, Press, And Walk: For this particular kettlebell exercise you will need a flat open space. Begin the drill by cleaning the bell to your chest and pressing it overhead. Lock your elbow out and suck your shoulder into the socket. This is very important when executing this drill. Next, with the bell overhead walk a designated distance that you have marked beforehand. If you want to challenge yourself try to execute the overhead loaded walk for about a 30 to 40 yard distance. You will quickly see how intense and exerting this drill can be and result in getting rid of the fat!

2. Clean and Jerk: This is an olympic-style lift that you can execute with the kettlebell. You simply want to execute the lift by cleaning the bell to your chest and then initiate a hip snap to propel the kettlebell vertically above your head in a pressed position. Both your elbow and shoulder should be locked into position at the top the movement. To challenge yourself use a moderately heavy weight and attempt to execute up to about 10 repetitions on each arm. You can do the lift with either a single bell or duel bells if you like.

Stair Fitness - 2 Insanely Great Exercises to Execute Using Stairs!

In this era of hustle and bustle I find that people are constantly looking for a convenient way to get a quality workout. The time crunch is always a major concern for people when it comes to fitting in time to fine tune the body. I have found that stair training has been a great fat-blasting workout for me to get into tremendous shape in a relatively short period of time. The following 2 exercises are great for everything that I just mentioned.

Stair Exercise 1: (The Stair Lunge) This is the exercise that will blast your glutes and hamstrings more than just about anything that I can think of. You need to make sure that the stairs you are using are relatively high like something you would find in a stadium at a high school or college. If you don't have access to either type of facility then you can look at your local park or if you have stairs of relative height at home you can make it work by simply doing more reps. To start, begin your lunges from the bottom of the stairs. One round or set is counted by going all the way to the top and back down. To lunge you want to step by taking a big enough stride to cover 2 to 3 steps at a time. Lengthen your stride and simply climb.

Stair Exercise 2: (Quick Sprint) This is an intense exercise that is a sure way to blast your legs and get your heart rate up just about as quick as anything. Like the lunge you start at the bottom and sprint to the top by making sure that you hit every single step along the way. The key to this one is to not skip any steps and keep a fast intense pace all the way to the top. This will add to your leg power, conditioning, and give you tremendous quick feet.
