Dominate Your Competition - The 2 Best Strength Training Exercises For Football Dominance!

Chargers Football training Camp by San Diego Chargers

Weight lifting and strength training for football is a MUST before you ever decide to step foot on the gridiron. In order to be successful in today's game of football you have got to have a smart strength and conditioning training program. Take a minute to read about what 2 exercises I have included here that will certainly boost your game day performance.

1. The Single Arm Overhead Kettlebell Snatch: By now you have got to know that the ancient kettlebell is one of the most hard hitting strength and conditioning tools known to man. The overhead snatch is an Olympic style lift that is tremendous for helping you to develop overwhelming core power, shoulder stability, explosiveness, and a level of unmatched conditioning. To execute this lift you must have some base knowledge of common kettlebell lifts. To perform the snatch you must understand how to transition from a single arm kettlebell swing to a high pull. This basically involves you swinging the kettlebell from between your legs and allowing it's momentum to bring the bell to a position that is lateral to your head with your elbow in a "cocked back" position. This movement should mimic you "pulling back on a bow." Once the kettlebell is at this high point lateral to your head then all you need to do is vertically punch your palm to the sky. Make sure to firmly lock out your elbow and secure your shoulder into the socket.

2. The Dual Bell Clean And Squat: For this strength training exercise you have to have the availability of a pair of kettlebells of equal weight. Place them between your feet. From the ground properly clean and rack both kettlebells to your chest. Next, perform a front squat maintaining form by not allowing the bells to pull your body forward. Try to go deep enough in the squat to allow your elbows to touch the insides of your knees. This is how you know your squat depth is sufficient. If you haven't included kettlebell training into your football strength and conditioning program you are only holding back the progress of your game. Remember that anyone can train hard, but only the champions train smart!

2 Best Strength Training Exercises For Volleyball Players!

Michigan Volleyball: Juliana Paz by gadknowsWomen's beach volleyball on St Kilda beach in Australia by Michael Blamey_

A truly dominant volleyball strength training workout has to involve the ancient kettlebell. By now you probably have heard of this ancient device to know that it has been the tool of choice among the world's greatest athletes and strongmen for over three centuries. Your volleyball game will improve like never before with the ancient art form of kettlebell training. I have included 2 drills here for you to implement into your personal strength and conditioning program to turn you into a champion!

1. The Overhead Kettlebell Swing: This particular drill is as intense as it gets, but is one of the best for helping you to develop superior core strength for your volleyball game! To start this drill you will want a kettlebell of moderate resistance. Pick it up with both arms and stand with your feet at shoulder width distance. From here simply execute a hip snap by constantly and fluently flexing and extending at both your knees and hips to build momentum in order to swing the kettlebell all the way up to above your head. Attempt 20 to 30 of these in a row and watch the "spring" develop in your legs for some serious spiking ability!

2. The Overhead Kettlebell Snatch: This is no doubt the BEST kettlebell exercise in my opinion for developing total explosive power. This drill takes some base kettlebell knowledge before you attempt it. Make sure you understand the technique behind the single arm kettlebell swing and high pull motion before attempting this drill. To give you an explanation the exercise it is done by you performing a one arm swing with the kettlebell while transitioning it into a high pull position just lateral to your head at the top of the movement.

Once the kettlebell is at this high point then you will want to "punch your palm" vertically to the sky locking out your elbow and securing your shoulder into place. As you "punch" your palm there should be a smooth rollover of the kettlebell around your forearm. At this point the kettlebell should not "bang" or "slap" your forearm. If it does bang your arm either your technique is flawed or the kettlebell is too heavy! Implement this lift and turn your volleyball strength program into an explosive strength training program! Remember that anyone can train hard, but only the champions train smart my friend!

2 Best Basketball Weight and Resistance Training Exercises!

Basketball player by cesardelahoz

A successful basketball strength training program has to involve the following 2 kettlebell exercises. If you are going to be a successful basketball player you must work on developing your speed, quickness, and explosive hip and leg power. All of these traits encompass the definition of what a true athlete is all about. Kettlebell training is the perfect ingredient in helping you to do just that.

1. The Clean And Jerk: This exercise helps you to develop serious core strength and explosive hip and shoulder strength. To do this lift start with a single kettlebell. To execute this weight training exercise properly clean the kettlebell from between your feet up to chest level. Make sure your feet are shoulder width distance apart. From here utilize your hips and knees by flexing and then immediately extending at the joints to create vertical momentum to jerk or press the kettlebell above your head. From here simply lower the bell back to the floor to start the process over again.

2. The Kettlebell Long Cycle: For this basketball strength training drill simply clean the kettlebell to your chest and execute a jerk (or press) above your head. Now the next part is important. As you lower the bell snap or swing the bell between your legs like you would with a swing and allow the upward momentum of the kettlebell to carry it back to your chest again at the clean position. Once here just jerk the bell again and repeat the cycle all over again. If you haven't had time to get acquainted with kettlebell training then you are only hurting your program. I have trained athletes for a long time and I know what works.

Trust me, kettlebell training is something that your competition still doesn't know about. Get an edge on them starting now. I'll even make it easier on you by encouraging you to access the rest of my articles here for free. Remember that anyone can train hard, but only the champions train smart my friend.

Explosive Power - The Single Best Exercise For Football Explosiveness!

Football requires explosive power and the only way to get that is to train your body to produce it! Workout routines for football have to be catered so that the proper training response will produce the same actions that you incorporate on the football field. Check out the following single best exercise below to get the explosive total body power that you need to perform.

I would like to introduce to you the dual kettlebell squat jump. For this drill you will have to have a pair of relatively light kettlebells of equal weight. Start by standing on a flat surface and hold each kettlebell by your sides. Perform a normal squat with the bells down by your sides and explosively jump up until your feet come up off the ground. Upon landing make sure that you land heel to toe (flat footed) and immediately descend into a squat in order to recoil to vertically jump again. Perform each repetition in continuous succession. The key to this exercise is to make sure that you perform every rep by smoothly transitioning from one jump to the next. This drill is great for developing total hip, core, and leg power for explosive speed and hitting force! Sounds like a recipe for success on the gridiron if you ask me.

Take the time to learn about how to include the kettlebell into your personal football strength training workout. In order to be successful your football strength and conditioning program has to be cutting edge. Train hard and finish the drill my friend!

Ladies if you are tired of hitting workout plateaus or you just aren't getting the results from your workouts that you hoped for then you need to take a minute to read and apply the following 2 kettlebell drills to your workout program. I am addressing this article to my more experienced female fitness enthusiast. The reason is that to be a kettlebell Greek Goddess you must be willing to be a little patient in learning new technique. Remember that kettlebell training is a combination of both strength and skill.

1. Clean and Walkout Push-Up Combo: For this drill you will only need the availability of a single kettlebell. Place the bell right between your feet. Squat down and properly perform a clean lift bringing the bell up to your chest. Immediately lower the bell back to the ground and stay crouched to walk out on your hands until your body is extended into an upright push-up position. Once you are fully extended then simply execute a push-up and walk back on your hands to the beginning crouched position. Once here simply clean the bell with the same arm and start the process over again. Attempt to perform 10 of these on each side for starters.

2. Clean, Press, and Walk: Ladies this is a popular move among women's fitness enthusiast. For this drill you will only need the availability of a single bell and a flat open space to walk. Mark off a distance in the walking space of about 25 yards. Clean the bell to your chest and press it above your head. Make sure your elbow is locked into place and that your shoulder is firmly sucked into the socket. Now walk the 25 yard distance with the kettlebell above your head. Once you reach the other side simply lower the kettlebell and clean and press it with the other arm. Walk back with the opposite arm. This is a great drill for building core stability, strength, and speeding up your weight-loss progress! Train hard and enjoy ladies.
