The Kettlebell Swing - Top Notch Fitness and the Best Way to Get in Shape!

Getting in shape doesn't have to be a losing battle! To truly get in shape you have got to not only exercise, but you have got to exercise smart. I am going to introduce to you an exercise that will blast your body into shape and shed those unwanted pounds faster than anything you will ever try.

I am pleased to introduce to you the kettlebell swing! You may have heard of kettlebells by now and understand that they are a Russian based strength and conditioning device that has been around for over three centuries. Kettlebells have been field tested and proven by the world's greatest athletes and strongmen. The base strength endurance lift to perform with the kettlebell is known as the double arm kettlebell swing. This exercise is executed by you grabbing the bell with both arms and swinging it from between your legs up to chest level.

The swing is properly done by initiating a specific movement known as the hip snap. The hip snap consist of you fluently and consistently flexing and extending at both your hips and knees to create the necessary momentum to swing the iron weighted cannonball in an arc like fashion. It resembles a pendulum. This single exercise gets your entire body involved in the movement of the weight. Hundreds of muscles work together causing your level of perceived exertion to go up real fast. This also causes your body's metabolism to kick into high gear and incinerate hundreds of calories at once! This is one of the best exercises to get into shape.

If you are serious about losing weight and want to get into shape then you have got to learn the kettlebell swing. Remember that you can train hard, but for real results you have to train hard and smart! Which do you want to do?
