Basic Exercises For Big Time Weight-Loss!

weight-loss-tips by michael.sethWeight Loss by andrew_writes

I get questions about weight-loss all of the time. What is the best way to lose weight? How much cardio should I do? How much weight training should I do? These are good questions for a beginner to ask, however more often than not they come from individuals who are thinking too much about how they should go about losing weight!

The only thing that you have to remember about working out for weight-loss and fat-loss is that it can be done by performing very basic exercises. For instance, if you are not used to working out at all then simply getting up to move around will get you some noticeable results. This moving around that I am talking about can be as basic as walking. Once you progress then you should continue to do more to challenge yourself and your workout intensity. From here all you need to do is perform movements that allow you to master your own body's resistance. The last thing you need is a gym full of equipment.

Executing movements as common as standing squats and push-ups are great for increasing your perceived level of exertion. Remember that the harder you workout the more calories you burn. Squats, push-ups, and squat thrusts are all great body-weight drills that I guarantee will get your heart pumping and the calories burning. After you progress to a point of where you want to add an external load or resistance then simply continue the body-weight movements by implementing functional lifts with kettlebell training. Performing basic kettlebell swings along with your squats, push-ups, and squat thrusts will certainly accelerate the progress of your fitness and weight-loss campaign!

Remember that whether you need to lose a ton of weight or you are already fit, basic lifts that incorporate multi-joint exercises will yield the greatest results. Keep training hard and your weight-loss success will come!
